About
code.rajkar.dev is a real-time collaborative coding interview platform — a shared editor where interviewer and candidate write code in the same room, in real time.
Why it exists
For years, the tool for technical interviews was CodeSandbox: share a link, code together, watch the candidate's cursor. Then live collaboration went away. The alternatives either demanded candidate sign-ups, lagged, or left you watching someone type over a screen share — no visibility, no way to step in.
So we're building the tool we actually want to run interviews with: the interviewer creates a session, shares a six-character passcode, and the candidate is coding in seconds — no account, no install, nothing.
What makes it different
- Live cursors. Every keystroke and cursor, Google-Docs style, inside a real code editor.
- Zero candidate friction. A passcode is the entire onboarding.
- Instant session control.Start, freeze, and end a session in one click — with the candidate's work auto-saved continuously.
- In-browser execution. Run React, React Native, and Node.js templates without leaving the page.
Who's building it
It's built by Raj Kar, a software engineer who runs a lot of technical interviews and got tired of the tooling. Launching July 17, 2026.
